What is the benefit to be a member of SF2M?

 

SF2M members

• belong to the French and international scientific and professional community in the field of "metallurgy and materials" and they can join the corresponding network through the year-book in which they are all registered.

• belong to the FFM (Fédération Française des Matériaux) and to the FEMS (Federation of European Materials Societies), which gives the possibility to exchange with colleagues from other specialties in France or in Europe, with preferential fees for the registration to specific events.

• can participate in thematic committees or regional sections, and in other working groups (for congress or symposium preparation, for instance).

• can register for "e-membership" to ASM International with preferential fees (22 Euros per year);
• can receive the journals at preferential conditions:
• the AEM journal (Advanced Engineering Materials): please consult the subscription rates for SF2M members
• IJMR (International Journal of Materials Research, (previously "Zeitschrift für Metallkunde"): 535 € instead of 698 €/year;
• benefit from preferential fees for the registration to SF2M congress as well as other congress organized by sister associations;
• can be recognized and honored in the "Metallurgy and Materials" community through awards and medals for their scientific and technical production.
